Interwoven Times

The installation “Interwoven Times” shows a suspended wire object, which is moved in a circle by the draft of a fan. The wire object consists of interlinked, annealed wire and woven-in stamped parts made of metal. The shadow of the object is projected onto the wall with a lamp. The shadow cast by the stamped parts creates figures that remind of animals and mythical creatures.




Vom Verweben der Zeiten
Installation, 2013, geglühter Metalldraht, Stanzteile, Ventilator, Lichtquelle

Die Installation „Vom Verweben der Zeiten“ zeigt ein aufgehängtes Drahtobjekt, welches durch den Luftzug eines Ventilators im Kreis bewegt wird. Das Drahtobjekt besteht aus miteinander verknüpftem, geglühtem Draht und eingewobenen Stanzteilen aus Metall. Mit einer Lampe wird der Schatten des Objektes an die Wand projiziert. Der Schattenwurf der Stanzteile erzeugt Figuren, die u.a. an Tiere und Fabelwesen erinnern.
