Beyond the Unknowm

Beyond the Unknown
Whale, Projection (
made with Unreal Engine, a game environment creation program), LED's, Raspberry Pie, Sound, 2023

"Beyond the Unknown" was conceived for the "exhibition lab", Kriens.

Placed in a dark room, the installation is based on a whale that emerges from the ground and makes contact with the visitor through an animated eye. A projection takes the viewer into a surreal underwater world.  But the whale also connects with the world underwater  and communicates with the world below the surface.
